Our aim is to build up a collection of useful information on pub campaigns and on the planning and business environment surrounding pubs. These essays and papers can be freely downloaded. You may wish to submit them as part of your planning objections or as evidence to an appeal.

The Public House Viability Test is a well-respected document, kindly provided by our friends at the Campaign for Real Ale.

This non-statutory advice note is guidance provided by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (formerly the Department for Communities and Local Government) to help local authorities run the Asset of Community Value scheme in their area. It is useful for campaigners to see the advice that local authorities are working under.
